What is wobbling a jelly all about?
I have a box. In the box, written on bits of paper, are little challenges which will make me behave differently, think differently, act differently. These aren’t life-altering or life-changing. They are designed to force me to do something I wouldn’t normally do. To break a pattern.
I call this wobbling a jelly.
If a jelly is sitting still, it isn’t doing anything. It isn’t changing. It’s the status quo. I’m wobbling the jelly to enact a small change. To see things from a slightly different perspective.
This is the journal of the tasks I completed. Try them yourself and let me know your outcomes. Or email or tweet me with your suggestions for me to try. The good (and clean) ones I’ll put in the box, and we’ll see when they come out.
The rules of the tasks:
- Should be something that can be done in a relatively short amount of time (less than 3 hours).
- Shouldn’t be anything bad, get me into trouble or dangerous
- Should be budget-friendly
